Sunday March 3, 10am: Meet at Waldron church gate. (TQ 548194) Waldron: High Weald Springtime. The fringe of the High Weald, sandstone and clay, woodlands and meadows, now rural but formerly the heart of the iron industry. 8 miles (5 hours includes pub halt!). Sunday March 3, 10.15am: Meet at Weir Wood Bird Hide car park in Legsheath Lane (TQ 383341). A Look At Weirwood. Whillets Bridge – Stone Hill Rocks – High Weald Landscape Trail – Busses Wood – Botley Wood – Brambletye House – Alder Moors – Legsheath Lane. Dogs under control. Tuesday March 5, 10am: Meet at the car park in School Lane, Danehill, adjacent to Memorial Hall (TQ 404278). Circular from Danehill. Danehill – Chelwood Common – Mark Street – Annwood Farm – Furner’s Green – Butcher’s Barn – Horsted Keynes – Danehill. Please bring picnic lunch. Drinks stop en route at Heaven Farm.
