Forensics from Sussex Police have been at the Red Lion pub in Ashington following a break-in during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday April 2).
Police were called to the pub in London Road at 1.15am.
Two doors were damaged but nothing was taken.
The pub is reportedly closed today whilst officers carry out an investigation.
A nearby resident said officers were making door to door enquiries this morning.
