Officials have recorded a 31.47 per cent turnout for Horsham district voters in the West Sussex County Council elections.
First result of the day was was from the Horsham District Council by-election - Roger Clarke (Conservative) is the new Cowfold, Shermanbury and West Grinstead councillor.
David Sheldon (L Dem) is re-elected for Horsham Tanbridge and Broadbridge Heath, polling 170 more votes than the Conservative candidate
County council deputy leader Lionel Barnard has been re-elected for Henfield.
Mick Hodgson has been re-elected to Warnham and Rusper.
Conservative Amanda Jupp held Billingshurst, beating UKIP by less than 100 votes.
Conservative Jim Rae took Roffey from the Lib Dems.
