A NEW fund-raising event is being introduced this year to raise money for the Sussex MS Treatment Centre in Southwick.
The Seafront Scavenger Bike Ride will take place on June 2, from Worthing to Peacehaven.
Joanna Hedges, fund-raising co-ordinator and deputy charity manager, said: “The charity decided to launch the new event to encourage new participants to come forward and take part in our fund-raising events.
“The event will be held from Worthing to Peacehaven, a 20-mile bike ride, which will have scavenger hunt clues along the way.
“The participants will be able to answer clues and win bike-related prizes and at the finish line in Peacehaven, there will be lunch for all the cyclists, followed by a lift back to the start line for those who require it.
“This will be a fantastic fun day out for bike riders of all abilities.”

The event will be raising vital funds for the treatment centre, which helps 200 people a week who suffer from multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.
