PLANS for major improvements to the main entrance at Southwick Community Centre have gone on display.
Visitors to the centre, in Southwick Street, Southwick, can see the preliminary designs for upgrading the main foyer and office area.
Southwick Community Association, which runs the centre, is inviting people to comment on the designs before it proceeds further.
Secretary David Comber said: “As you can see, we are still being positive in these hard times as regards the future of the centre, but this comes by way of a lot of hard work by the staff, volunteers and trustees.”
The renovations follow work on the toilets in the foyer earlier this year, paid for out of a £10,000 grant from Adur Council’s Pot of Gold.
The plans were discussed at the consultative forum at the recent annual meeting.
