A MAN had to be talked down from beyond the railings at Teville Gate car park yesterday – just weeks after a man died after falling there (Thursday, August 15).
Police were called to the NCP-owned car park at 5.50pm, where they found the man on the penultimate level.
They spoke to him and managed to get him to safety at 6.55pm
The 28-year-old man was then arrested under the Mental Health Act.
The incident is the third similar event at the car park since July 23, when a man fell and died.
Days later, another man had to be talked down.
