A STELLAR programme of attractions and around 250 well-groomed sheep drew the crowds at another successful Findon Sheep Fair on Saturday.
The annual event, on Nepcote Green, is always a crowd-drawer, and this year was no different, as a wide variety of shows, stalls and activities kept visitors entertained.
Falconry displays, a dog and duck show and sheep judging were the highlights, and organisers were relieved that the weather held-off for the event to avoid being a ‘washout’.
Organiser Simon Stace said: “Last night, I didn’t think the rain was going to stop. I thought it would be a washout.
“But fortunately, it’s held-off, and it has been a good day.
“It’s a nice event for everybody, not for one particular age group.”
