Cyclists should not be allowed to get away with cycling on pavements - a Horsham pensioner has said.
Leslie Brooks, 81, fractured his hip, his elbow and spent weeks in hospital when he tripped whilst attempting to avoid a passing cyclist in West Street in June.
Mr Brooks told the County Times that ‘cyclists dismount’ signage must be increased and improved in the town centre.
He also said he wants to campaign to protect pedestrians to avoid a similar incident to his own.
