THE winner of the Herald & Gazette Award at our Community Stars 2013 is looking for readers’ help.
Jeannette Jones is involved with organising a fashion show to raise money for the Sussex MS Treatment Centre in Southwick.
The event will be at the Assembly Hall in Worthing on May 15 next year, showcasing local talent alongside high street fashion.
She said: “I have four companies involved with catwalks but I am after a couple of things.
“Sponsorship of £1,500 would allow all proceeds to go to the MS centre.
“Also, I am after a gizmo which allows wheelchairs to be raised up, i.e. to get from the floor to the catwalk.”
She explained that the Worthing Borough Council premises did not have such a facility.
“Obviously, anyone who offers help with either of these requests will get appropriate advertising,” added Jeannette, who helps to organise various events for the centre, under the ‘Most Spectacular’ banner.

The next Most Spectacular event is a pamper day at the MS centre, in Croft Avenue, on Saturday, March 29, 10am to 4pm. Entry will be £2.50, which includes a goody bag and complimentary drink.
Other events in the year will include a cream tea.
