Two bird observation hides at the RSPB’s Pulborough Brooks reserve have had to close due to flooding.
The Winpenny and Nettley hides are out of action due to the floods caused by the storms over Christmas, said Peter Hughes, the senior warden at Pulborough.
Winpenny is not likely to be reopened for a few days due to rising river levels and more threatened heavy rain over the weekend.
Fattengate Courtyard at Pulborough is also closed due to fallen trees, but the rest of the paths and trails at are open although muddy, so visitors should wear suitable footwear and clothing.
