FILM fans are being given the chance to choose the next screenings for Drive In Movies Shoreham.
The Christmas screenings of Elf on December 21 and Home Alone on December 22 had to be cancelled because heavy rain made the site unsafe.
On their Facebook page, Drive In Movies Shoreham said: “We want all of you to decide what films we are going to screen at our re-scheduled event on January 25 and 26.”
People can post their film choice and the top ten will then be put up for public vote.
Options so far include Fast and Furious, Toy Story and Despicable Me 2.
“Please feel free to suggest the original films of Elf and Home Alone, if that’s what you want to see,” added the organisers.
The team had been hopeful the December screenings would go ahead but heavy rain and high winds put paid to Elf and then a night of persistent rain resulted in Home Alone being cancelled, too.
Organisers said: “We hope that many of you will carry your tickets across to our next event. But for those who want a refund do please email us on info@britishdriveinmovies.com.
“Our small family of local residents, some of which volunteer to produce these events, very much appreciate the support we have received.”
