A 15-year-old boy was arrested after a customised BMX bike worth £700 was stolen from a Crawley home.
The bike was taken from a conservatory in London Road just after midnight on Sunday (February 2).
Sussex Police said one of the occupants of the house gave chase but the thief rode off towards Tushmore roundabout.
The bike is an FBM make and has a purple front wheel and a black rear wheel with the writing Primo on it.
The seat is tan leather and the bike has gold pedals.
The main frame is decorated with a number of stickers, including a graffiti written style sticker which says ‘federal’.
A 15-year-old boy from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of burglary and bailed until March 20.
