STREAMS in the Desert is the theme for this year’s Women’s World Day of Prayer.
The Shoreham service will be held at St Nicolas Church, in St Nicolas Lane, on Friday, March 7, at 10.30am.
The service has been prepared by Christian women in Egypt and refreshments will be served afterwards. People of all ages are welcome, including men.
The first service of the day takes place on the Island of Samoa. The world is then circled in prayer for 36 hours and the service is celebrated in more than 170 countries.
