A man was released from a car and taken to hospital following an accident on the A23 near Warninglid yesterday (Sunday March 2).
Emergency services went to the scene at 4.15pm on the main road northbound between Warninglid and Slaugham.
Two cars were involved and one man was extricated and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Firefighters made the scene safe and then handed over the incident to the police.
