An accident has closed the A23 this afternoon (Monday March 3) near Handcross.
The A23 has been blocked and there is queueing traffic northbound at Handcross.
Reports are that the incident has involved two lorries in the roadworks area.
Drivers are advised to stay clear of the area while the incident is cleared.
