Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a man in Brighton Road, Worthing.
At around 4.15pm on Monday October 29 the victim, a 68-year-old man, was assaulted as he was walking along the road from Worthing town centre.
There is believed to be one suspect.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged 24-34, 5ft 11in of skinny build.
He was wearing a dark hooded top. Other body features of the suspect include a prominent nose and bright blue eyes.
PC Benjamin Nield of West Sussex Response Investigation Team said: “This was an unprovoked attack on the victim. The road on which it happened is a busy one and so there will hopefully be someone who saw what happened. Please come forward if you did.”
