Christmas is just around the corner and many primary schools across the county will be marking the occasion with traditional lunches.
Roast turkey or Quorn fillets will be on the menu on selected dates between December 10-21, and both dishes will be accompanied by roast potatoes, stuffing, peas and carrots.
For dessert, children can tuck into an extra-special Christmas Muffin.
The children can choose milk, water or juice to drink.
Most of the primary schools who receive their lunch service from West Sussex County Council and Chartwells - who provide hot meals to most of West Sussex primary schools – have chosen to join the festivities.
Meals cost £2.20 and can be booked in advance by visiting https://westsussex.mealselector.co.uk/ or by contacting the Chartwells team on 0845 603 7998 (8.30am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday)
Dates will vary depending on schools. Some schools may take cash payments. Please check with your child’s school before ordering.
