A man has been charged with robbery after an incident at a Worthing convenience store.
Jimmy Meldrum, 31, unemployed, of The Strand, Goring, is due to appear in custody this morning (Monday, January 21) at Worthing Magistrates’ Court, charged with the robbery of £50 cash and with criminal damage.
The charges relate to an incident at West Station News, Station Parade, in Tarring Road, Worthing, just after 1pm on Friday,January 18.
A member of staff was slightly injured. No weapons were involved.
