THE Steyning and District Business Chamber has announced details of its first networking meeting, which is to be held next month.
Chair Julie Belton said: “This is an ideal opportunity to meet with other local business people, to share ideas, know-how and contacts and build strong business relationships within Steyning district.”
If you own, run or manage a business in Steyning or the surrounding areas, you can go along to Steyning Cricket Club on Tuesday, March 12, 6pm to 7pm. Meetings are free for chamber members and £2 per non-member businesses (monies will be donated to a local charity).
Julie added: “As well as meeting potential customers, you will be able to meet others who may have the knowledge or experience to help you with any issues you may be facing in business.
“These meetings would be excellent support for those who work singularly during the day.
“Whilst these meetings are being run with an emphasis on doing business locally, there will be no push to do referrals or to change business providers/partners.
“Networking is not simply about turning up and handing out your business cards – networking is about building relationships.”
